I am not sure if it was the road hockey or the cross country race, but playing soccer a couple of weeks ago I pulled my hamstring, but it was today that I really found out about it. I went to see my miracle worker, Bryn Thompson at Cedar Hill Sports Therapy, and he pinpointed the muscle tear deep in my hamstring. This means that it is light running this weekend at the Bear Mountain 10k in order to prepare for the Gunner Shaw 10k Cross Country race next week. I should be fine and then have fun splashing through the puddle and lake. Recovery time this week!
And, for the record, I have always loved ham. I just don't eat it.
